Worship Associate: Anna Garcia Feb. 12th - Changing the World Through a Shared Cosmology - We may be the only church in Visalia to CELEBRATE Evolution! Don't miss this special program with "evolutionary revival" music and sing-along videos! Our video guest speakers for Evolution Sunday are philosopher Nancy Abrams and physicist Joel Primack speaking on how new scientific discoveries about the nature of our universe can empower us to meet the great challenges of our time. Worship Associate: Harold Wood Feb.19th - The Inherent Worth and Dignity of Every Person - Earl Cruser will speak on the meaning of the 1st UU Principle and will guide us toward our own personal understanding as we see it embodied in every day life. Keio Ogawa will speak on how her trips to the village of Oroko in Guinea Africa has changed her world view about what is really important. She shares inspiring insights on how service to others serves God (or whatever Higher Powers one holds dear), and how sharing the wealth maintains balance in the world. *Sunday services begin at 5:00PM, with buffet supper at 6:00PM

The UU Ministry for Earth, of which this congregation is a member, has a new environmental justice curriculum.
This is a lively 5-session curriculum designed as a basic introduction to environmental justice (EJ). President of the UUA, Rev. Peter Morales, was recently in Spain, at a conference honoring the life and legacy of one of our theological ancestors, Michael Servetus, who was born 500 years ago, and burned at the stake as a young man for his beliefs.

After our interesting program last Sunday on the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office for "United Nations Sunday,"
I discovered the UU United Nations Office has a Climate Change Task Force:
